Saba Samali
BOH UON
Saba Samali graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2015, with a Bachelor of Oral Health with Distinction. Before joining Bella Dental Care in 2016, Saba participated in a dental volunteer mission trip in Asia. Alongside treating patients with the principal practitioners, she provides periodontal treatment for gum disease, recall appointments, and pre and post orthodontic care.
Saba furthered her studies in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy which assesses oral posture. This therapy is provided to help correct abnormal patterns associated with breathing, chewing, grinding or clenching, and tongue function. Saba understands the mouth as the window of health into the whole body, and uses her line of work to better educate individuals about the importance of their oral health.
Saba is continuing her education with UNSW studying a Master of Global Health and Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence. This is to compliment her interests in prevention, identification, assessment and control of infectious diseases, as well as its relationship with oral and holistic health.
